Processing Time and Back Orders
We work hard to fill orders on the day they are placed. Orders placed by 1:00 PM Central Time generally ship that day. If we have a question about your order, we will attempt to contact you and may hold your order overnight to wait for an answer. If you place your order after 1:00 PM Central Time, we will fill and ship it the same day if at all possible, though we cannot guarantee it.
In order to offer our customers the best possible prices, we do not process back orders as a general rule. In the rare event that we do not have an item in your order, we will process the items we have in stock and close the order. If the items missing include large items (like kilns) or any kind of clay or metal, we will contact you to see if you would prefer to substitute items or hold/cancel your order.
Time-sensitive and rush orders
If your order is time-sensitive, we recommend that you consider that when selecting shipping options and tell us about your deadline in the comments of your order. If there is a more economical option, we will contact you for permission and adjust the charges before shipping. Located in Dallas, Texas, we are a 2-3 day shipping point for the majority of the US via UPS Ground.
Orders of less than $59 ship in the Continental US for just $5.00. No additional charges for insurance will be applied! Flat-rate orders will ship via UPS Ground or USPS Ground at our discretion.
Orders of $59 or more ship in the Continental US freight FREE. Qualifying orders will ship via UPS Ground or USPS Ground at our discretion, with no additional charges for insurance.
Our preferred shipping method for international orders is UPS. If you would like us to quote another option, email us at email@example.com or place a note in the comments of your order. If we can offer you an alternative that is less expensive, we will adjust the charge to your credit card before finalizing it.
Important: Important Note Regarding International Shipping: Shipping your international order via any method other than UPS or USPS Express can result in substantial delays in transit time – up to six to eight weeks. While other options may be less expensive, please understand that it may take quite some time for your order to reach you and PMCC will not be able to re-ship your order or file a claim for a lost package for at least 60 days from the date of shipment. We strongly recommend UPS or USPS Express for international shipments.
