Linda Kline took an abrupt turn from her origins as a silversmith when
she discovered the versatility and organic quality of Precious Metal Clay.
Her work is heavily influenced by nature and indiginous cultures.
Linda is an accomplished performance artist, visual artist and jewelry designer.
She serves on the faculty of Vero Beach Museum of Art and teaches classes
and workshps from her seaside studio in Vero Beach, FL and at numerous regional
arts centers.
Her unique designs have exhibited at galleries and invitational shows and
are commissioned by prestigious private collectors throughout the country.
Linda is a member of the Florida Society of Goldsmiths, the PMC Guild, Vero
Beach Arts Club and Vero Arts Chix.
PMC has transformed my work, giving it a look that evaded me through traditional
fabrication and metalsmithing techniques. I love PMCs loose, organic nature.
Working with the clay is like a dance. It's fluid. It has life. The versitile,
yielding nature of the clay flows with the vision of the artist.
There's no greater gratification, as a teacher, than to watch a student
as they learn to embrace the medium and discover their artistic nature.
