Teva began as a child admiring nature and collecting and sharing stones.
Her artistic adventure began during youth with drawing and quickly moved
into oil and acrylic painting in a realism style. After becoming bored with
the mediums, she began working with wire and found her niche with PMC. Her
business, Yesterday and Today By Teva was inspired by the theme of taking
Yesterday’s minerals and transforming them into Today’s treasures.
In addition to nature, she appreciates the mystery found within individual’s
face and eyes, which she believes is the passage way to the soul. She enjoys
teaching and sharing her knowledge of PMC as well as other art techniques
with others. She believes that everyone holds creativity within and emphasizes
techniques to invoke and bring out the creativity in her students.
I like the versatility of PMC. It is amazing to take a lump of PMC through various techniques while invoking creativity and a piece of art evolves. It can be sculptured, textured and manipulated in such a way that the most perfect piece of art can be created.
