I have been an artist all my life and started painting portraits and
Landscape in oils and acrylic painting. Then in 1975 I found a small shop
that sold decorated eggs. I learned the art and won several 1st place
awards and Best of Shows. I learn stained glass, fused glass, polymer
clay, and many other arts. I wrote instructions for many of my projects
and started teaching. Teaching is where I share my love of art.
I saw PMC on television and on the internet. Tried it and decided I wanted
to know more about it. I attended my first artist retreat and the rest
is history. No more looking back. PMC is my favorite medium of all. I
am wowed by all of its possibilities.
I love the easy of creating and the gotta-have it now factor. PMC has
allowed me to show-case my work and be able to created many jewelry pieces.
With imagination and clay anything is possible.
Bracelets, collages and rings are my specialty. When I learned to combine pmc and and kaleidoscopes, I was in my element. I took a class from Alice Alper-Rein in Dallas to learn PMC and kaleidoscopes. I took every class I could get on PMC and read every book.
My studio is located in Waco, TX. Jan Hale and I own and operate Collage Gallery and Studio. We have many PMC Classes as well as Certification, glass classes, fused glass, advanced fused glass, jewelry classes and metalsmithing. I will be having my certification classes in Waco, Texas.
Glass, stained glass, fused glass, slumping, mechanical techniques. I love problem solving.
